1040 Review & Update Seminar: Our two-day 1040 Review & Update Seminar doesn't offer just a live presentation and flimsy seminar notes. Our comprehensive seminar combines one of the top-speaking teams in the nation with our take-home 900+ page textbook and searchable research CD. Compare our price and offering to any seminar in the U.S. and you will be surprised!

CPE is provided for CPAs, EAs and CA Registered Tax Preparers

Our A-Team speakers include Matt Brodie, CPA, Lee Reams, EA and Art Werner, JD. We take special care to include the latest law and procedural changes, revenue rulings, form changes and practical advisories in our seminar. We also develop a list of troublesome areas from which we receive frequent technical calls and include them in the presentation. Our unique seminar text includes integrated California provisions and differences and is so complete and well-organized that many practitioners use it as their primary tax season reference. The text also highlights tax strategies that will benefit your clients and make you a hero. Find out for yourself why our students scored our textbook 94 out of 100 in a recent survey.

Please join us this coming Fall. You will not find another seminar that provides you with as much practical and useful information!

Note: For CTEC registered preparers, the two-day course includes 4 hours of CA credit. The price of enrollment also covers an additional 8-hour online supplemental course (for a grand total of 24 hours) plus lunch both days.

Schedule: Classes are scheduled from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch break.

Seminar Material: Seminar text, handouts, badges and other materials will be available to pick up at 7:30 a.m. You may wish to bring a writing instrument, highlighter and breakfast snack.

Meals: ClientWhys Seminars provides a complete lunch on both days.

Refund Policy: Refunds will be granted only if requested at least ten days before the seminar begins; 10% of fee will be withheld from all refunds. We will be happy to transfer your registration to another location, space permitting, if you request the change at least ten days prior to the seminar date. There is a $15 transfer fee. Cancellations within 10 business days of the seminar date can only be credited to your account for a future seminar date. No exceptions. Sorry, no tape recording permitted. For more information regarding administrative policies such as complaint and refund, please contact our offices at (800) 442-2477 Ext. 1.

The following will be covered at the seminar:

New Law Changes - The seminar will cover all new tax
law changes in detail, including those newly-passed and
those just taking effect from prior legislation. You will
come away with everything you need to prepare returns
for 2009 and help your clients' plan for 2010 and future
years.

Significant New Rulings - All significant new Revenue
Rulings, Tax Court Cases, Revenue Procedures, Letter
Rulings, etc., are accumulated and included in the seminar
text.

Solutions to Troublesome Issues - We identify the
issues and situations most encountered by students,
practitioners and other professionals throughout the year
and address these problem areas in our seminar. In
addition, we try to anticipate tax issues that will be
created by new laws, rulings and the ever-changing
economic climate.

Tax Strategies - We look for strategies that will help
minimize the tax burden of your clients. Topics that are
covered include: tax reduction, retirement, education,
AMT avoidance and many more. After all, that's what it's
all about!

California Differences - California differences are
integrated with the Federal tax presentation. After each
Federal issue in the text, the CA position on that issue is
discussed. It can simply be the "same as Federal" or a
detailed explanation of the differences is provided.
By attending this seminar the student will prepare himself/herself for the upcoming tax season. The student will learn:

New tax law changes in detail, including those newly-passed and those just taking effect from prior legislation.
